Posting a small parcel to Brazil with ParcelWorks is very simple and cost effective. The parcel will be efficiently collected, dispatched and delivered by a local final mail carriers at a fraction of the cost of other network providers.
Depending on your preference there are two ways in which you can choose to start your delivery process, you can either drop off your parcel with one of our partners or have it collected from your home address. Your parcel will then be sorted into country destination at a sorting depot before it is dispatched via air to Brazil.
We will ensure that all parcels (whether large, medium or small) have the fastest delivery time possible; parcels should be delivered within 3-8 days assuming there is no delay at customs.

Brazil Service Summary
•The Processing Centre (TPC) will receive your parcel
•When your parcel is scanned, weighed, sorted and labeled TPC will have full responsibility of the process.
•The parcels will then be sorted into sacks and then transported from TPC to Heathrow Airport.
•When the parcels arrive at the Heathrow Facility they will then be receipted at sack level.
•All parcels from Brazil will be held at the Heathrow facility for up to 10 days until the duty is paid.
•Once the parcels are ready to be shipped they will then be flown from Heathrow airport to Rio De Janeiro.
• Aprisa Express will clear the parcels at customs.
Parcels are then injected to other final mile delivery partners for final customer delivery.

Additional notes
•If the duty is not paid the item will then be sent back to the sender.
•Duty fee in non refundable.
•Once the item is scanned in Brazil the customer will receive a induction email.
•If the customer is not at home on the first delivery attempt the courier will leave a card.
Three attempts are available for re-delivery however the third attempt will be charged.

Customs Information and Country Restrictions
Import duty and taxes are due when importing goods into Brazil and the import duty and taxes due are calculated on the sum of the value of the imported goods, the cost of freight, and the cost of insurance. Imports are also subject to a state sales tax (ICMS), a type of federal tax (PIS PASEP and COFINS), excise tax (IPI) on certain goods.
Duty rates in Brazil vary between 0% to 35%, with an average duty rate of 22.77%.
Brazil operates a ‘Simplified Tax Regime’, where imports by post or courier valued between US$50 and US$3,000 are subject to a flat 60% Import Tax on the CIF value of the import.
There is no minimum threshold in Brazil for online imports. Imports with a value up to US$50 sent by post, where the sender and the recipient are private individuals, are exempt from duty and tax.
